Installation Spotlight - Guest Inn Lake City Florida

Lodge Port recently completed a comprehensive Wi-Fi modernization project at Guest Inn Lake City, transforming the property's Internet experience for both guests and staff.

When our team first evaluated the hotel's network, we found that approximately 60 guest rooms were being served by only three wireless access points. While that configuration may have been sufficient 20 years ago, it simply cannot keep pace with today's connectivity demands. Modern guests arrive with multiple smartphones, tablets, laptops, and streaming devices, all expecting fast, reliable Internet access throughout their stay.

To meet those expectations, Lodge Port designed and installed a new enterprise-grade wireless network featuring a new firewall, POE switch and 16 strategically placed wireless access points throughout the property. The new system delivers strong, consistent coverage to every guest room and common area, providing the performance required for streaming television, video conferencing, online gaming, and high-speed Internet access.

The Suntide Island Beach Club received signifiant damage during the back-to-back hurricanes in September and October 2024. Lodgeport has been contracted to repair the phones system, WIFI system, and the IP camera system as part of the storm revoery. We look forward to helping the resort recover from the two devastating storms.

New for 2026, managed services will become are part of our core maintenance plans. For those who sign up with the 2026 MSP package, we will back and restore your computer in the event of a natural disaster. We will install a real time anti-virus monitoring solution and update your PC with security patches each month. Our managed serivces will let you sleep peacefully knowing that in the event of a disaster your data will be stored safely and can be restored quickly after the storm.
